The Ceilidh Collective are one of England’s premier Ceilidh bands for weddings, barndances, concerts, corporate events, parties and of course Ceilidhs themselves. With their driving energy and over exuberance they are guaranteed to bring any celebration or occasion to life! Their diverse repertoire ranges from enthralling reels, jigs, hornpipes and marches to meltingly beautiful airs and songs from Scotland and Ireland.
Biography
Founded by Scottish fiddler extraordinaire Jamie and Irish accordion supremo Collete The Ceilidh Collective has grown over a decade to comprise a squad of the most supremely accomplished musicians and have become one of the most respected Ceilidh groups on the circuit with some especially notable performances including playing to Sting, Her Excellence President Mary McAleese and the Latvian President at Dublin Castle, Princess Anne at the Guildhall, Irish Ambassador Mr. David Cooney at the Irish Embassy, Mayor of London, Jasper Conran, Antonio Carluccio, Rolf Harris, Thandie Newton, and Stephen Rea.
