Maurits Van Rhede
From Marrakech to the Ministry of Sound, Amsterdam to the Algarve, Maurits’ prolific DJing career has seen him playing at celebrity shindigs and premiere corporate events throughout Europe. With a reputation forged from his combined musical knowledge and perceptive judgment of his audience Maurits has been instrumental in heralding a superior standard of music programming and Djing to prestigious venues and private parties. In addition to his musical influence at many a talked about event, is his experience in providing specialist playlists for numerous fashion shows, bars, hotels and corporate presentations. Both accolades have kept him at the top of the game and in constant demand in the DJ booth.
Maurits is also a specialist in chill out and ambient sets as well as doubling up with live instrumentation such as saxohphones or percussion for a truly unique and sophisticated showcase.
Biography
Maurits became an established and influential events organiser in Paris in the early ’90s. After moving to London in the mid ’90s, his clientele included China White, the Elyseeum, Heaven and the Ministry of Sound. As well as managing and DJing at events in Amsterdam, Chamonix, Florence, St Moritz, Klosters, Mallorca and Marrakech, Maurits’s versatility has made him a regular feature on the creative circuit at Cannes, the Edinburgh Festival, Cowes week, and the Secret Garden
