Driven by the spirit of 1950’s Cuba, The Havana Kings present old school salsa with a fiery modern sound. Direct from the Cuban capital, band leader Flavio Correa and musical director Rey Crespo pave the way for their dynamic and talented team to entertain with the music of Cuba. This eight piece Charanga Tipica outfit consists of a classic blend of instruments and vocals. With a wealth of experience on both the corporate and concert scene, The Havana Kings are perfect for all lovers of Latin music.
Biography
Established in 2006, The Havana Kings specialise in Cuban Charanga, Salsa, Son, Bolero, Cha Cha Cha, Mambo and afro-Cuban jazz. Consisting of traditional instruments including the Tres (Cuban guitar), baby bass and Latin Percussion, the ensemble can deploy from anything from a trio to an eight-piece for ultimate flexibility and fun.
